Rydivo / FAQ

Before you clip in.

A few straightforward answers about your data, your devices, and what connects to what.

01

Do I need a Rydivo account?

No. Rydivo apps do not require a Rydivo account. Purchases and restore use the Apple or Google store account already on your device; that is separate from creating an account with us.

02

Where does my ride data live?

Ride records and analysis are stored and processed on your devices. There is no Rydivo training-data cloud. You explicitly choose sharing and local transfers. Route downloads, maps, store purchases and support still need their respective network services.

03

Do Apple and Google memberships work across stores?

No. Lite, Pro, Max and Ultra belong to the Apple ecosystem. Rydivo Premium belongs to Google Play on Android TV. Each store manages its own purchase and restoration; the memberships do not unlock one another.

04

Does Studio need an iPhone?

For Apple Health workouts, yes: your iPhone reads the data you authorize and sends eligible cycling records to Mac. Studio can also use GPX, TCX, FIT and RYD files without a paired iPhone. A single ride can be shared by AirDrop for free; local batch sync requires Lite or above.

05

What do I need for indoor TV riding?

A compatible TV device with Bluetooth LE and an indoor setup that exposes standard FTMS: a Smart Bike, or a road bike on a smart trainer. This can include Wahoo and Zwift equipment if the particular model and connection mode support standard FTMS. Route resistance and ERG also require the corresponding control capabilities. A heart-rate strap is optional.

06

Do all four Apple apps share the same ride history?

Each device keeps its own local data. iPhone can send eligible Apple Health cycling records to Mac, and Apple TV can send a saved ride summary to iPhone. TV summaries are not forwarded to Studio. Vision Pro and Android TV keep independent histories; there is no automatic cloud mirror across all apps.

07

Can I use the apps offline?

Local analysis and creation work with data and media already on the device. TV and immersive riding need downloaded route content and compatible equipment. Downloading content, maps, store verification and purchases can require a connection.

08

When can I ride on Vision Pro or Meta Quest?

The visionOS experience and its route collection are being prepared. Meta Quest is a future direction, with no confirmed release date or purchase offering. Availability will be announced here.
